Choosing the best Race and Class for your next World of Warcraft Character

It’s daunting… It’s stressful… It’s a headache… Every time a World of Warcraft player clicks the “New Character” button on the home screen, after logging in to the game, and just finds themselves staring at the Race and Class options, trying to decide which combination of choices would be the best and most optimal and also the most powerful. We’ve all been stuck there, many times, some much longer than others, but there’s just got to be a choice that is better than all of the others, right? The answer is Yes. Absolutely! But the problem is, most people don’t want to hear it. They’d rather chose the one that looks the coolest or the one that starts in their favorite starting area or the one that is the best looking or most attractive. You have to admit, some of them look much more appealing than the others and certain starting areas seem to be a little easier than others, to level up quickly in.

PRO TIP for serious WoW players: TheCosplayScene.com hosts the most powerful World of Warcraft leveling guide in existence, on their site. When you think about the game, World of Warcraft, as a whole, what do you see or imagine yourself doing, later when your character is higher level? Farming gold and items and gear? PvP in BG’s and Arenas? Questing for reputation gains from the various factions within the game, so you can earn that special rep mount you always wanted? Running instance dungeons with friends, guildmates or just in the Dungeon Finder system? Raiding with the other end-gamers, for the most elite and epic gear that World of Warcraft has to offer? These things matter a lot more than you might realize, because depending on what you like or plan to do in the game later with your new character, certain Race choices are better than other due to the Racial Abilities associated with each particular Race Choice. Something to think about…

If rep mount farming is something you are interested in, perhaps you should pick Human as your race, so that you can capitalize on the “+10% to all reputation gains” that only Human characters get to have. They also have a nifty little Racial ability called “Every man for himself,” which is useful for escaping movement impairing effects as an added bonus. Truth be told, though, the best thing about a Human in World of Warcraft is the extra Spirit Passive Racial Ability. It’s far more useful for all classes than most people realize because spirit not only regenerates mana, but also health, making it more than just a little useful and viable for any player, playing any class in the game. One thing to consider, if you have the extra discretionary funds for it, is purchasing a Race Change from Blizzard, when you decide to begin farming reputation for a mount or something that reputation is needed for, then you can even purchase another Character Race Change from Blizzard, afterwards, switching back to your characters original race, later. Also, don’t for get to check out the most powerful and most useful World of Warcraft Leveling guide in existence, located under the each of the images, on every single cosplay post on TheCosplayScene.com, because it will truly elevate your gameplay and set you apart from the other players in World of Warcraft and get you to max level and achieving your goals far faster than any of them can possible do it, without this very powerful leveling guide.

As I stated in the first paragraph of this article, the answer to the question, “what’s the best race to pick when creating my next, new character?,” is actually very simple, but most people don’t want to hear it… and when you tell them, they will try and argue, but they would be wrong. If you play Alliance, its Nightelf. Here’s why… +3% Passive Dodge Bonus. Now, you need to stop trying to argue, still you mind, and hear me out… It’s Dodge… Not blocking and not parrying, which only work against melee swings and attacks. If you dodge an attack, that means that you TOTALLY evaded the attack, completely, and all damage and negative effects that might have came with it, such as DoT effects (Damage over Time), such as what a bleed attack or something similar might do. However, one of the best things about dodge is that it works exactly the same against Spells as it does against melee swings and attacks. You can completely dodge a spell, just as you could potentially dodge a melee sword attack, completely, causing your opponent to effectively waste the 1-2 seconds of time needed and used, when trying to successfully complete the attack against you, as well as, wasting their mana or energy, in doing so. It’s very useful to note and understand that important principle.. Your opponent is wasting all of their time and mana/energy trying to attack you, every time you dodge their attack… The +3% Passive Dodge Bonus stacks with any and all other bonus dodge your character might have, as well, but even just +3%, is huge, all by itself. You effectively get hit, 3% less often, which means you effectively lose 3% less health, than other characters races do, when fighting, which means literally, 3% less deaths, in World of Warcraft. That’s a Game Changer, right there… *The author takes a bow…* 😉

Now, if you play Horde, as I’ve stated twice now, the answer is again, very simple, but most people don’t want to hear it… They just want to argue and make excuses, but the best and most powerful Horde Race to play in World of Warcraft, is without a doubt, Troll. They get +10% Passive Health Regeneration even during combat. That’s, quite simply, the best ability in the entire World of Warcraft video game.. You have to consider, and keep in mind the fact that its passive and ongoing and never turns off, unless your character is at 100% full health. But, if you are fighting and at anything less than 100% full health, its working for you, beautifully and ultimately regenerating your health for you 10% faster, even during combat.. Think how much mana your healer gets to save, if you are tanking the boss on your Troll Warrior, and constantly regenerating health during combat, at such a high rate! It’s just incredible, and its a better, easier life on any class that can be a Troll.. Far less deaths too…

Don’t get me wrong, the other Playable Races in World of Warcraft, do also have some very useful Racial Abilities… That’s very true, they do, but compared to the ones i just mentioned and explained, above, they are weak and not nearly as powerful or as useful and that is just the cold hard truth of the matter, that no one likes to hear. So, when you roll your next World of Warcraft character, consider what you’ve just learned about the most powerful and useful Racial Abilities in the game and also, don’t for get to check out the most powerful and most useful World of Warcraft Leveling guide in existence, located under the images, on every single cosplay post on TheCosplayScene.com, because it will truly elevate your gameplay and set you apart from the other players in World of Warcraft and get you to max level and achieving your goals far faster than any of them can possible do it, without this very powerful leveling guide. It will allow you to make very short work of the grind to end-game, in the World of warcraft MMORPG video game. Thanks for reading!
